Here goes our first Blog post.
My son Jaden and I are intending to document the progress of re-building this bicycle.
The plan has changed several times since we started and it has become more of a living and breathing ever changing project. Originally the bike was a barn find by Jaden's grandfather. He gave the bike to us to do whatever we wanted with. Jaden initially wanted to restore it stock. I did some research and found it is a 1963 Schwinn Typhoon with a build date of May 2nd. This is our second project bicycle and I started showing Jaden some of the custom bikes and we decided to go with a mild custom. Black paint with orange accents and maybe we will add some vintage accessories.
